Kansas City right-hander Felipe Paulino is on the disabled list for the second time this season and the fifth time since 2008. Paulino, who began the season on the disabled list with a right forearm strain, returned Saturday to the disabled list with a strained right groin. He was activated April 30 and went 3-1 with a 1.67 ERA in seven starts. Paulino, however, left in the first inning Wednesday with the groin injury, which he hurt while backing up third base against the Twins. The game began with Ben Revere lining one off Paulino's right thigh. He remained in the game, but three batters later departed with the groin pull. Manager Ned Yost said there was no correlation between the two. Paulino did not make the weekend trip to Pittsburgh as he remained in Kansas City for further exams and treatment, when it became evident he would be unable to make a Tuesday start against the Brewers.
