Found July 06, 2012 on Bloody Sox:
According to Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe, infielder Pedro Ciriaco and outfielder Scott Podesednik are both expected to be added to the major league roster today. The Red Sox need another infielder now that Dustin Pedroia is on the 15 day DL, and Ciriaco makes sense in this situation. And Podsednik is expected to be added to the major league roster because his rehab stint in the minors is over today. There is still no word on who will be sent down and removed from the 40 man roster to make room for the two players. Pedro Ciriaco hit .301/.318/.406 with 4 home runs, 13 doubles, and 2 triples in 64 games for the PawSox. He has also had a cup of coffee of the majors. In 31 games for the Pirates, he hit .333/.350/.513 with 3 doubles and 2 triples.
