PLAYERS: Pete Rose
Incredibly, Pete Rose and Playboy model fiance Kiana Kim's reality show Hits & Mrs. was shelved after one season.  In fact, it barely made it through one season.  The last two episodes were moved from TLC to something called Destination America so as to prevent as many people from watching the abomination as possible. Keep in mind this is the same network that gleefully airs Honey Boo Boo, and yet somehow Pete Rose's reality show was FAR WORSE THAN THAT.  Apparently it missed that niche market of "awful trainwrecks people want to see" and tailed off into Cavemen territory. Don't worry about Pete and Kiana though.  They've landed on their feet... somewhat... with this ad for Muenchen's Furniture in Cincinnati.  After seeing their "charisma" and "chemistry" in this commercial, it's a wonder they never worked out as reality television stars... So it's come to this for Pete Rose.  Trying to sell Paula Deen bedr...

Pete Rose stars in awesome furniture store ad

Major League Baseball’s legendary outcast, Pete Rose, and his adoring wife, Kiana Kim, have to keep the money rolling in somehow, so what better way to get a quick and easy paycheck than by starring in a local, low budget commercial for a furniture store? And seriously, this bad boy has it all. Hackneyed acting? Check. Horrible production values? Awkward posing and absurd dialog...

Pete Rose stars in bizarre furniture spot

In this schadenfreudey world of ours, the notion of Charlie Hustle pitching Paula Deen furniture sounds humorously ironic, one of those things you watch with a slight grin on your face and—in the deep recesses of your psyche—a pang of respect due to the refreshing candor of a fallen star. Turns out it’s just depressing as hell. by Dan from via Barstool Sports...

Video: Pete Rose looks really comfy in this furniture promo

Life after baseball has presented plenty of promotional opportunities for all-time hit king Pete Rose. In fact, his playing days were also littered with a ton of appearances in television ads and such. The Cincinnati native has made his mark over the years in commercials for the likes of Aqua Velva, Nestle Crunch, Kool-Aid, and Atari, just to name a few. And who could forget this...

Pete Rose: Bad TV Commercial Actor WIth The Sell

((ht: Haha! This one is bound to further endear me to my friends in Cincinnati. One of our favorite baseball sites, Hardball Talk, found a TV commercial for a Cincinnati Furniture store that featured acting only slightly more wooden then the actual furniture. They feature Cincinnati Reds legend Pete Rose and his wife trying to act interested...

Pete Rose stars in probably the most clownish furniture ad you’ll ever see

This Pete Rose furniture commercial is literally the worst/greatest thing we here at Gamedayr may have ever seen ... Enjoy!

Ready for the Boston Red Sox on Opening Day, Derek Jeter will continue threatening Pete Rose’s record for hits

Manning shortstop on Wednesday for the first time since suffering a fractured left ankle, legendary ballplayer Derek Jeter will be ready for Opening Day on April 1 when the Bombers host the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. Jeter, a 38-year-old who batted .316 with 15 homers and 58 RBI in 2012, bummed his hoof making a defensive stop during Game 1 of the American League...
