Final: Rays 7, Phillies 3.

WP: Brandon Gomes (2-2, 3.97 ERA)

LP: Cliff Lee (0-4, 3.72 ERA)

Cliff Lee just hasn't been his usual self so far this season. Although he struck out nine batters in seven total innings pitched, he allowed three walks and five earned runs in the process.

The bullpen hasn't been any better. B.J. Rosenberg walked four straight batters in the eighth inning, and Jake Diekman walked another in his relief.

The Phillies' next opponent will be their Pennsylvania rival- the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Attendance: 44,088  (241st consecutive regular-season sellout).

Notes:
  • Utley Watch: Chase is expected to travel to Philadelphia for the final stage of his rehab assignment. He will likely play Tuesday at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, before being activated for Wednesday’s game against A.J. Burnett and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
  • Brian Schneider left tonight's game in the 6th inning after a home plate collision with a right ankle sprain.
  • Cliff Lee has been winless since September, 26, 2011 (273 days ago).
