The fine folks at Taco Bell pledged to serve up a free taco nationwide if any player successfully stole a base during the World Series. Luckily for America, San Francisco Giants outfielder Angel Pagan answered the call when he swiped one during the eighth inning of Game Two. Pagan made sure to claim his when he attended a Bay City area Taco Bell restaurant on Tuesday. What better way to celebrate a world championship than chowing down on some free Mexican cuisine?Via Deadspin.

Tip: navigate using the ← left and right → arrow keys Meanwhile, in San Francisco… It’s a very exiting time in the Bay Area, and we’ve been fortunate enough to catch some of it. On Monday after the Giants won the World Series we took to the streets and captured compelling photos of the fan riots and...

SF Giants Rumors: 2012 World Series Champions!
I would like to apologize for not being able to post the last couple of days. I went to game 2 of the World Series on Thursday and then watched games 3 and 4 in Los Angeles, so I had no time to update the site. It sure was nice to see all the Giants fans wearing their gear in Dodgers/Angels territory!
The San Francisco Giants have just won their 2nd World Series within a 3-year...
Bruce Bochy's Rolls Royce runs out of gas during Giants World Series parade (Video)
A funny thing happened during the San Francisco Giants World Series parade Wednesday when a Rolls Royce carrying manager Bruce Bochy and his wife apparently ran out of gas.
A group of Good Samaritans had to get behind the Rolls Royce and pushed the car for the remainder of the parade route. However, this didn't seem to dampen Bochy's spirits, as he was proudly displaying...
2012 World Series champs San Francisco Giants get parody song, "Ho Hey" (Video)
With the San Francisco Giants victory parade set for Halloween day, I figure that many San Francisco fans are looking for a song to blare to celebrate the accomplishment.
It didn't take long but the fine folks over at Network of Champions
put together this solid parody using The Lumineers, "Ho Hey" as the
inspiration to celebrate the Giants second World Series...

Bruce Bochy's car ran out of gas during parade
It's probably a good thing that the San Francisco Giants themselves never ran out of gas. Am I right?Yeah, yeah, I know...but, seriously, gang, what else can you say about a car running out of gas during a World Serie parade?
This One Is Right In The Feels; Hunter Pence Celebrates Being a World Champion
I hate writing about this, but it's Hunter Pence and he deserves to be recognized for this achievement - even if he didn't contribute that much until the actual World Series.
The Giants held their World Series Championship parade today in downtown San Francisco. Millions turned out to see the second parade in three years and Hunter Pence captured some of the confetti downpour...
Giants World Series Sweep Gets Animated!
It's a good thing that Pablo Sandoval got the World Series MVP or else the team at Next Media Animation would have had a re-write on their hands.Just hours after the San Francisco Giants completed their sweep of the Detroit Tigers, the video of Sandoval, er, a giant panda literally sawing off the head of a tiger while Sergio Romo is cheering him on hit the interwebs. Now, I might...
Good For You, Barry
Now the dust has settled a bit on the Giants World Series title, there’s been a chance to appreciate the turnaround of their higher paid player. When they signed Barry Zito to a 7 year, $126 million contract prior to the 2007 season I’m sure they envisaged him starting the first game of the World Series for a championship winning side and, one way or another, they now got to...
Giants Win World Series for the Ages
The 2012 San Francisco Giants can be described in various ways. They were exciting, quirky, hard-working, and persevering to name a few.
Pablo Sandoval, when asked of a word that could describe the team, he said, “Heart”. After all the team went through, this was the absolute perfect word to describe what the team was made of. The Giants did it all in the playoffs. The team came...
Congrats to the San Francisco Giants
Sunday night, we saw a champion get crowned in Major League Baseball as the San Francisco Giants swept the Detroit Tigers out of the World Series to win their second title in three seasons. The Giants won Game 4 4-3 in 10 innings to complete an almost impossible run to the title that looked all but over in numerous occasions. We can go as far back as the regular season, when the...
I’m Sick Of The San Francisco Giants
The San Francisco Giants won the World Series in impressive fashion by sweeping the Detroit Tigers. I would congratulate them except the Giants really annoy me. Why does everyone on the team need a gimmick or a “thing” or a marketing plan? It all started with Brian Wilson, who turned into a star after growing a ridiculously large beard. Than his injury replacement, Sergio...
The 2012 San Francisco Giants Begin and End the Season with Sweeps
The 2012 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants began and ended their amazing season with sweeps. They started by getting swept by the Arizona Diamondbacks. The season that followed was ripe with dramatic highs and insufferable lows, far more intense than any other team in Major League Baseball. With the final chapter finished, we know the nature of their final sweep, bookmarking...
Top 5 moments of the 2012 World Series
Although the 2012 World Series didn’t last all that long, it did have some memorable moments. I’ve narrowed down the 5 most memorable moments that jumped out to me, and this is what I came up with:
5. In game 2 of the series Gregor Blanco placed a perfect bunt down the third baseline that narrowly stayed fair and loaded the bases for the Giants with no outs. The next batter...
Rollins Gets Gold; Pence Gets a Ring
It is unofficially “award season” in baseball. The end of the playing days signals the start of the individual honors. For the Phillies, Jimmy Rollins took home his 4th career Gold Glove award with a .978 fielding percentage.
But the award is little comfort after a very disappointing Phillies season that ended without a playoff bid. And in a strange twist of fate, one player...
