A.J. Pierzynski is an A-Hole. No, that is not news. Everyone knows that he is a dirty player. Everyone also knows that he makes a fool out of himself by talking trash like a Jersey Shore toolbag. Pierzynski added a new chapter to his dirty tactics this week, when he intentionally spiked Tampa Bay Rays second baseman, Ben Zobrist, on Wednesday. Here are a few screen grabs of the “slide”…. This is exactly the type of dirty play that MLB needs to get rid of. I’ve written about this before, and it’s not good for the game. Zobrist got lucky and was uninjured on this play, but there have been plenty of unnecessary injuries around the second base bag (and home plate) throughout the history of the game. Hawk Harrelson flips out after Jose Quintana was tossed (Video)

Hawk Harrelson is widely despised among non-White Sox fans for his over-the-top homer calls for the White Sox on TV. Even though we’re fully prepared to hear nothing but a biased perspective from Hawk, he still manages to stun us with his sports talk radio caller-like meltdowns on a regular basis. White Sox Off Day: Saluting the Streaking Sox with Larry from South Side Sox

The Chicago White Sox are the hottest team in baseball. They have won eight games in a row, 12 out of 13, and sit alone atop the AL Central. As David Haugh put it, quite...
