According to Rob Biertempfel, the Pittsburgh Pirates have called up pitchers Brian Burres and Brian Bass.
Burres is on the 40-man roster, which means someone would need to be optioned down to the minors. As for Bass, he is not on the 40-man roster, which means a spot on the 40-man would need to be cleared for him to be called up.
