The Pittsburgh Pirates are bringing back Jason Grilli. Grilli spent the last two seasons in Pittsburgh before becoming a free agent. The Pirates allowed him to test the market before ultimately bringing him back.
Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports first reported the news yesterday.

The deal is reportedly worth $6.75 million. Grilli is getting a nice raise with this contract. He made $1.1 million in 2012.
Grilli has been solid for the Pirates out of the bullpen. In his two seasons with Pittsburgh, Grilli has posted a 2.76 ERA. The 10-year veteran has spent time with six different teams in his career. He has a record of 21-25 with a 4.34 ERA.
Grilli suffered a knee injury in 2010 that cost him the entire season. Since then though, he has been healthy. Grilli appeared in 64 games for the Pirates last season. He appeared in 28 games for them in 2011 after the Pirates picked him up off the streets and signed him to a free agent deal.
