Listen, I get the fact that Alexei Ramirez is a boring player to own in fantasy. With the nickname Cuban Missile you would think he’d be more exciting, but his stats last year were fairly bulletproof (does that joke even make sense?). He’s in his fifth year as a pro, but is already 30 years old (as far as we know). The bottom line is he is as consistent as they comeand was ranked 147th last year according to the four-letter network. If you add in a little position scarcity I bet he ends up right around 136th overall. I also expect Ramirez to steal more than seven bases and he’s not a .260 hitter so he should be just fine as your average shortstop.
Best case scenario: A toned down 2011 Asdrubal Cabrera (CLE)
Similar players: Chase Utley (PHI), Stephen Drew (ARI), Brandon Phillips (CIN)
Worst case scenario: Alex Gonzalez (MIL)
Consistency. It’s shocking how consistent Ramirez has been in his career. In his last three seasons he has hit 15, 18 and 15 home runs has scored 71...

Since the White Sox traded previous right fielder Carlos Quentin a few weeks ago, the 22 year-old Viciedo has basically secured the position in right. The young player came up to the majors on August 28th of the 2011 season and the fact that he didn’t arrive sooner...

I’m still in mourning over his ousting from my beloved White Sox, but my adoration for him lives strong.
He has been my boo since his South Side playing days in a Chicago White Sox uniform (I used to go to the ball park for $1 on Ladies Day), and years later when he became...
After miserable 1st season with Sox, he faces fans with hope he can rekindle careerIn what can be classified as either one of the bravest moves ever or one of self-flagellation, Adam Dunn will appear at this weekend's SoxFest.
Ozzie Guillen has again used to Twitter to air his grievances.
1. Troy Tulowitzki, Colorado Rockies
Tulo reached over 100 RBI for the first time in his career in 2011 despite playing in just 143 games.
2. Hanley Ramirez, Miami Marlins
Last year was extremely disappointing for Ramirez, but if he’s healthy his power and speed make him one of the best fantasy options in baseball.
3. Jose Reyes, Miami Marlins
Reyes would thrive leading...
