There are always a few players that have a surge in homers from week to week. Who's it going to be next week?  Lyle Overbay and Pedro Alvarez should both have solid power numbers next week for their teams. Here's why... Lyle Overbay | NYYOverbay is going to get to see Jeremy Guthrie of the Kansas City Royals, who has given up the most homers in the majors this year (20), and then he will hit against Wade Davis, also from KC. Overbay has only had seven total career at bats against Davis, but he has hit two home runs off of him. Look for Overbay to have a power surge early on the week and hopefully carry it into Minnesota when the Yankees see the Twins.Pedro Alvarez | PITNext week the Oakland A's and the New York Mets will be coming to town. Each team is sporting some young pitchers that like to give up the long ball. Tommy Milone, while quietly having a solid year in Oakland, has given up 19 dingers this year. The Mets will then come into town and Alvarez will see Dillon Gee or Jeremy Hefner, or both. Gee has given up 14 homer runs this year and Hefner has given up 13. Hefner is a good young pitcher sporting a solid ERA, but look for Alvarez to turn on him at least once next weekend if he gets to see him.Other possibilities: Andrew McCutchen, Travis Hafner Recent PostsWeek 14 Closer ReportFantasy Stock Report: Joe Blanton, Jon LesterHeath GarrisonFollow Heath on Twitter @hgarrison643
