David Price was cruising through Game 3 against the Texas Rangers like nobody's business until suddenly, in the seventh inning, he coughed up the 1-0 shutout.
The All-Star lefty, who was winless in six starts last month, has still never beaten the Rangers. Counting two unfortunate losses during last year's ALDS, Price is a career 0-6 against Texas... which is so weird...

Update 6:42 p.m Price may have just made the play of the game.
With runners on first and second and one out for Josh Hamilton, Price jumped off the mound to make an over the shoulder grab on a Hamilton chopper. Price then raced to first, using his great athleticism, to beat Hamilton to the bag. He certainly needed to, since neither Kotchman or Zobrist were in position to cover first...

Colby Lewis can't pinpoint a reason. Neither can manager Ron Washington. But, for whatever reason, Lewis has been significantly better on the road this season -- with a 3.43 ERA -- compared with at home, where he has a bloated 5.54 ERA. That didn't factor into Lewis getting the Game 3 start today at Tropicana Field, though. Instead, Washington simply followed the rotation...
