A team source told MLB.com that first baseman Prince Fielder is not a target for the Nationals. The source pointed out that the club has Adam LaRoche and Michael Morse at first base.

While executive vice president of baseball operations Dan Duquette didn't totally dismiss the notion of the Orioles being interested in free-agent slugger Prince Fielder, all signs point to it being highly unlikely that the coveted first baseman ends up in Baltimore.
