Ivan De Jesus has a .316/.369/.460 line in 174 at-bats on the season. Jose Tabata made a rehab start, playing a complete nine innings. He should be close to returning to the Pirates, possibly by the end of the week. Tabata is currently 4-for-23 in his rehab assignment, with three of his hits coming against left-handers.   Alex Dickerson hit his eighth homer of the year today. AA: ALTOONA CURVE    Box Score Result: Altoona 5, Akron 4 Starting Pitcher: Casey Sadler, RHP (3.38) – 0.0 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 0 K, 0 HR Top Hitter: Alex Dickerson, RF (.251) – 3-for-5, 2 2B, HR Other Notable Performers: Nate Baker, LHP (8.90) – 4.1 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 3 K, 0 HR Drew Maggi, LF (.260) – 1-for-4, 2B, SB Game Notes: Casey Sadler was knocked out of the game after one batter after getting hit in the shin with a comebacker to the mound. He was diagnosed with a right knee contusion. Alex Dickerson homered for his second game in a row, and hit his eighth of the year. Dickerson finished the month of June with a .300 average and a .917 OPS. The Altoona bullpen pitched all nine innings to pick up the win, led by 4.1 innings from Nate Baker.   A+: BRADENTON MARAUDERS   Box Score Result: Palm Beach 7, Bradenton 5 Starting Pitcher: Zack Dodson, LHP (1-6, 5.07) – 5.0 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 3 ER, 4 BB, 1 K, 1 HR Top Hitter: Willy Garcia, RF (.249) – 2-for-4, HR, BB Other Notable Performers: Eric Avila, SS (.241) – 2-for-5, 2B, 2 RBI Stetson Allie, 1B (.205) – 1-for-5, 2B, 3 K Game Notes: Zack Dodson had a great start in May, with a 3.45 ERA in 28.2 innings. In the month of June he had a 6.84 ERA in 26.1 innings. Willy Garcia hit his 12th homer of the year. It was also his eighth homer of the month of June. He finished with a .308 average and a 1.012 OPS. The sinkerball pitcher has given up three earned runs in six innings, with a 4:0 K/BB ratio and a 2.75 GO/AO ratio. Jeff Roy now has five stolen bases in ten games.
