Morton went four shutout innings, throwing 69 pitches and 40 strikes. He had a 5:3 groundout to air out ratio, and the only hit he allowed came on the ground as well. Altoona didn’t have much offense on the night. Andy Vasquez was the only batter with multiple hits. In his first two starts he gave up ten runs in 7.1 innings. In his last two starts he gave up one run in nine innings. Control has been a problem for him this year, with 11 walks in 16.1 innings so far. Dilson Herrera brought in the only runs with a two RBI triple. Barrett Barnes had two hits and a walk on the night. Stetson Allie went 1-for-4.
