A+: BRADENTON MARAUDERS   Box Score Result: Palm Beach 4, Bradenton 2 Starting Pitcher: Adrian Sampson, RHP (3-6, 5.66) – 6.0 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 K, 0 HR Top Hitter: Stetson Allie, 1B (.235) – 2-for-2, HR, 2 BB Other Notable Performers: Dan Gamache, 2B (.276) – 2-for-4, HR Game Notes: Stetson Allie hit his second homer since being promoted to Bradenton, spanning 68 at-bats. In his last ten games he is 9-for-37 (.243) with three doubles and two homers. In his last five games he has only struck out 23.5% of the time, with two homers in 17 at-bats. Hopefully that’s a trend that continues, as he has been striking out around 40% of the time on the season. Dan Gamache hit his second homer of the year. Gamache is more of a gap hitter, with 23 doubles on the year. Adrian Sampson gave up 11 runs in 9.2 innings over his last two starts, but bounced back tonight with a quality start. He has been hit hard this season, but he’s showing great control numbers, with a 33:5 K/BB ratio in 56.2 innings over his last ten starts.   A: WEST VIRGINIA POWER  West Virginia had their game suspended after three innings due to rain. The Power were up 3-0 and Luis Heredia threw three shutout innings.   A-: JAMESTOWN JAMMERS   Box Score Result: Jamestown 8, Hudson Valley 4 Starting Pitcher: Cody Dickson, LHP (3.97) – 4.0 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 K, 1 HR Top Hitter: JaCoby Jones, CF (.406) – 2-for-5, HR, 2 RBI Other Notable Performers: Adam Frazier, SS (.375) – 2-for-3, BB, 2 RBI Andrew Dennis, C (.250) – 2-for-4, 2 RBI Jeff Roy, LF (.250) – 2-for-4, 2 RBI, SB Cesar Lopez, RHP (2-1, 2.81) – 3.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 4 K, 0 HR Game Notes: Cody Dickson made his fourth start. In that time he has a 3.97 ERA in 11.1 innings, with an impressive 18:5 K/BB ratio. He has given up five earned runs on the year, with four of them coming in one outing. JaCoby Jones hit his first pro homer, which was an inside the park home run. He is 13-for-32 with two doubles, two triples, and a homer so far. Adam Frazier is 9-for-24 this year, although all nine hits have been singles.
