Found July 14, 2012 on Bloody Sox:
One thing is certain: that facial hair is hideous. The Rays are in town to start the second half of the season, and with them comes Red Sox nation’s favorite player to hate: Luke Scott. As to be expected Scott has been greeted with greater heckling than most when visiting Fenway, the media has ripped on him, and of course, social media networks explode with insults heaped on Scott when he faces the Red Sox. But why is that? Let’s take a look at some of the things Scott has done to potentially earn this treatment. In 2011, while playing with the Orioles, Scott made some questionable remarks that had people wondering if the baseball player is racist. Among other things, he also insisted that President Obama was not born in the United States and thus not a U.S. citizen. Following the 2011 season, Scott was asked how he felt about the Red Sox collapse: “It was awesome, just a beautiful thing. I got to see a priceless thing driving back to my apartment,” Scott said. “I see all the Boston...

Rays start second half against rival Red Sox

Taylor Guerrieri’s “Stuff” Differs in Last Two Starts

Recently, Tampa Bay Rays first-round pick Taylor Guerrieri received a tremendous write up for Bullpen Banter by JD Sussman.
