Evan Hochschild, a blogger on crawfishboxes.com, was kind enough to answer a few questions about the Houston Astros.
Some teams remain interested in trading for Roy Oswalt and many Rangers fans wonder if he would be good fit here. Would the team consider offers for him and think about rebuilding? What would it take to get him?
In Houston there is always the attitude that the Astros will figure it out eventually, and make a patented September playoff push. It's unlikely to happen this season, but then again, it could. The NL Central doesn't have a great team (and what division does?), and I think there are enough "what ifs" associated with the 2009 Astros that the front office will be hard pressed to trade Roy this season. Astros owner Drayton McLane, Jr. doesn't know the meaning of the word rebuild, and would like nothing more than to have Roy Oswalt finish his career as an Astro.
