LOS ANGELES - Former USC pitcher Randy Johnson announced his retirement today after a 22-year Major League career. The five-time Cy Young Award winner and 10-time All-Star became just the 24th player in Major League Baseball history to record 300 wins in his career. He earned his 300th win last season as a member of the San Francisco Giants.
