In one of the stranger pieces of injury news, the Texas Rangers have temporarily lost their starting shortstop due to pain from a tattoo.  Elvis Andrus has been sidelined with what is being called soreness in his left arm thanks to a new tattoo. According to Ron Matejko of ESPN Dallas, Andrus was given an off day after playing in back-to-back games, so he used the time to get a new tattoo.  However, the new tattoo is so large it caused Andrus quite a bit of pain, and he had to be scratched from yesterday's game.  Manager Ron Washington did not seem too concerned: "Elvis has been working hard, and having another off day isn't going to hurt him," Rangers manager Ron Washington said. "He'll be ready tomorrow." Andrus is going to be a key part of the Rangers' success this season.  The team is trying to make up for the offense they lost via free agency and trades during the offseason.  To do so, they will need all the players on the current roster healthy and playing near their peak during the season. Andrus will be playing in his fifth Major League season, and he is still just 24 years old.  The shortstop from Venezuela hit .286/.349/.378 last season.  In his career, Andrus has hit .275/.342/.353.
