Josh Hamilton will be in the other dugout when the Texas Rangers play their home opener Friday. Texas is coming off an opening series at Houston, when Yu Darvish was one out from a perfect game and Rangers pitchers struck out 43 batters in posting two shutouts. But so much attention in the first home series will be on Hamilton being in a Los Angeles Angels uniform. Hamilton was booed in his last game at Rangers Ballpark. That was when he was still with the Rangers and 0 for 4 in their last home game, a 5-1 AL wild-card game loss to Baltimore last October. Texas scheduled starter Derek Holland says Hamilton was a good teammate.

Josh Hamilton compares himself to Jesus

ARLINGTON, Texas While the boos and jeers rained down on Josh Hamilton during his return to Rangers Ballpark, he got some comforting words in the dugout. "He said, 'Where was Jesus got-after the most? His hometown,'" said the deeply religious Hamilton, who declined to name the source of inspiration. "Baseball wise, this is my hometown." It certainly...

Hamilton not happy with familys treatment

ARLINGTON, Texas Josh Hamilton's return to Rangers Ballpark didn't go so well on the field or in the stands for his family. While Hamilton said his family was fine, there was a security guard around his wife Katie and their daughters. "Just guys being ugly, inappropriate to my wife," Hamilton said. "People being dumbasses." A Los Angeles club official...

Girl goes nuts after man catches foul ball

Josh Hamilton may think that Arlington is not a baseball town but try telling that to the female companion of this lucky fan who caught a foul ball at today's Angels-Rangers game. Catching a foul ball is exciting, but for our buxom hero, it is VERY exciting. So exciting in fact that  she couldn't help but rub herself all over her sure-handed male friend. See for yourself...

Friday was the home opener for the Texas Rangers after opening the season down the road in Houston, and their opponents for the first series of the year with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and former Ranger outfielder Josh Hamilton. Josh Hamilton Says Comments About Rangers Playing in ‘Football Town’ Have Been ‘Absolute Nightmare’ for Him

Josh Hamilton is headed back to Arlington, Texas, the place where his baseball career came back to life and where he put up some of his biggest numbers. Hamilton: 'Texas is home. I love Texas'

Josh Hamilton will return to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington on Friday for the first time since signing with the Los Angeles Angels. The 2010 American League MVP still calls Texas home, however, Rangers fans probably won't be giving him a warm homecoming welcome when he comes up to bat. Hamilton was a guest on the Mike & Mike in the Morning radio show Monday on 103.3 in Dallas...

Josh Hamilton Gets Treated Just as Expected on Return to Arlington

Josh Hamilton did not have the smoothest end to his time with the Texas Rangers at the end of last season nor when he opted to sign with a division rival over the Rangers. Fans were not too distraught over his departure with the way he played down the stretch, but that does not necessarily mean they wanted him to go. Josh Hamilton Booed in Ranger Home Opener

I’ve never been so ashamed to be a Ranger fan. The Texas Rangers opened their home season to a sellout crowd who were anxious to see a familiar face in the visitors’ dugout. The LA Angels are almost as hated as the Yankees in these parts, so it was fixing to be a memorable home opener. Unfortunately, most of the fans forgot about the 142 homers Josh Hamilton hit during his time...
