The last time the Rangers faced Bartolo Colon, they were shutout in just over two hours. Two outings ago, Roy Oswalt gave up 11 runs on 13 hits in just over four innings. Given those two facts, I did not expect a pretty game tonight.  I knew it was the last one I’d get to watch until next Monday though, so I was determined to stay up for it.  Thankfully, Roy and the Rangers made it worth my while. Roy pitched six scoreless innings before giving up a solo home run in the 7th.  It was only the third hit he allowed all night, as he struck out six.  That’ll do, Roy.  More of that, please.  And maybe, just maybe, I’ll stop complaining about you.  We’ll see. Craig Gentry was a thorn in Bartolo Colon’s side tonight.  At least, I’m pretty sure Gentry made Colon’s side hurt after a foot race to first base on an infield hit in the 3rd (Gentry won … FYI).  Since that worked, Gentry went for a bunt the next time he was up.  And no one in the A’s infield wanted to cover first base, for some rea
