ARLINGTON, Texas Neither the Texas Rangers nor Nelson Cruz have heard from Major League Baseball with regards to the ongoing Biogenesis investigation. Texas general manager Jon Daniels said the team has to wait and see what happens and then move forward. "I know there are reports out there," Daniels said. "We have not heard anything. I don't expect to hear anything until a decision is reached. I hate to say it but more often than not those types of reports are accurate. I hope it's not this time. If it comes to pass we'll address it." How the club addresses it remains to be seen. Mike Olt has returned from his vision problems to Triple A Round Rock and is starting to hit the ball better while playing third base. Olt can play right field but Daniels said the team wants him to get settled again before thinking about moving him to the outfield. First baseman Mitch Moreland's name has also been brought up. Moreland has made 32 starts in right field for the Rangers. But Daniels said the club is hesitant to move Moreland to the outfield right now, especially since he's trying to come back from a hamstring injury. While Cruz is in right field for now, the future of Jurickson Profar on the Texas roster will be decided sooner. The Rangers could have to make a roster move as early as Sunday to clear a roster spot for Ian Kinsler. The return of Kinsler will mean less playing time for Profar, but Daniels said that doesn't necessarily mean he's heading to Triple A Round Rock. "There's no Profar dilemma," Daniels said. "It's not about that. It's what are we going to do for the team. What's the best team we can field? How are we going to get the most out of our players 1 through 25. That's the mentality. It's not about any one player. It's about the club and putting the best team out there."
