Rangers slugger Josh Hamilton is undergoing tests to determine if he has a sports hernia and will need surgery. Hamilton was examined late Thursday afternoon in Philadelphia by Dr. William Meyers. The outfielder was then scheduled to have an MRI to confirm if he has a sports hernia, and could have surgery within days if he does.
