The St. Louis Cardinals appeared ready to take a big 2-0 lead in the 2011 World Series. Leading 1-0 in the ninth inning, the Cardinals turned to Jason Motte to close out the Texas Rangers. But after two hits, great baserunning and a pair of sacrifice flies, the Rangers were able to escape with a 2-1 victory and tied the World Series at 1-1. In the ninth, Ian Kinsler started things off with a hit. After he stole second base, Elvis Andrus hit a single and then advanced to second on the throw. With runners on second and third, Josh Hamilton and Michael Young both lifted sac flies to give Texas their first lead of the World Series. Now, the 2011 World Series heads to Arlington for the next three games. The Cardinals will need to win at least one of those three games to bring the games back to their fans. While the Rangers are great at home, this World Series seems like it is going to be a long, drawn-out affair. Buckle up! Josh Hamilton and Adrian Beltre (Image: TSN.ca) Post from: Eve...
