We told you a bit about this earlier this week ... Vandergriff Plaza is undergoing some major renovations at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Now, the Rangers are releasing the details.  In short, there's still a kid-friendly area, but they're also adding concession stands, a restaurant/sports bar and a club atop Green's Hill in the Batter's Eye. The team is also making significant changes to the visiting bullpen, pulling it parallel with the left field wall and giving most of the stadium a view inside.  To do this, some of the left field bleachers were removed.  Those that remained are being replaced with individual seats, dropping capacity in the outfield from 1,075 to 424. “We have a commitment to our fans to provide the finest ballpark experience,” commented CEO and President Nolan Ryan. “The upgrades we are making in the Vandergriff Plaza area will add more food/beverage and entertainment options while also providing ways to cool off in the summer months.
