Luke Scott is back in the lineup.
The Tampa Bay Rays activated the designated hitter Tuesday before a game against the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium. He was dealing with a right calf strain late in spring training, which left him on the disabled list since March 30, retroactive to March 24.
Shelley Duncan was designated for assignment to make room for Scott's re-entry. Duncan hit .182 (10-for-55) with two home runs and six RBI.

The Tampa Bay Rays have activated outfielder/designated hitter Luke Scott from the disabled list on Tuesday. Scott, who has been suffering from a strained calf since the end of spring training should be a regular in the Tampa Bay lineup.
