Typically teams detest going to arbitration with their players. During the process, the team has to state its case as to why they feel the player is not deserving of the money the player is requesting. It usually leads to unflattering remarks and hard feelings between the club and player. While the Rays won their abitration hearing with catcher Dioner Navarro, saving $400,000 in the process but apparently, no ill will has been fostered during the process....
