(AP PHOTO/THE CANADIAN PRESS,Chris Young) Will Middlebrooks hit 3 of the Red Sox' 5 homers in a 13-0 rout in Toronto. The Sox welcomed R.A. Dickey to the AL East by knocking him out of game in the 5th after he surrendered 8 runs on 10 hits. Jays reliever, David Bush, couldn't stop the bleeding, surrendering 5 runs on 4 homers in 3 innings of work. Jon Lester countered with a stellar performance, going 7 strong. Lester struck out 6 and scattered 5 hits over the 7 innings, moving to 2-0 on the season. Clayton Mortensen pitched well in the final 2 innings, giving up 2 hits and fanning 4. Back to the offense. Will Middlebrooks put on a show with the 3 homers and throwing in a double in his 4-for-5 afternoon. Everyone else's afternoon was over-shadowed by the Middlebrooks performance. Jacoby Ellsbury contributed in the home run derby with a solo shot in the 8th as part of his 3-for-6, 2 run, 2 RBI afternoon. Daniel Nava hit his first homer of the season in the 7th, a 2-run homer for his only hit of the afternoon. Mike Napoli had his best game as a member of the Red Sox thus far, going 2-for-5, with a double and 4 RBI. Jose Iglesias had a great game for someone with a lack of offensive ability, going 2-for-5 with a double. OK, Jose isn't that bad., he just needs some more time in Pawtucket.  This was a great sign and boost for the organization. A very convincing win to close out the series to win the first 2 of the season. The Sox will head back home to for the home opener against who is now looking to be the toughest opponent in the AL East, the Baltimore Orioles. I like the Sox' chances. Box Score
