It appears Boston's version of Lin-sanity is over as the Boston Red Sox have designated Che-Hsuan Lin for assignment to make room for Sandy Rosario who was claimed off waivers from the Miami Marlins on Wednesday. Here's the release from the Red Sox: BOSTON, MA - The Boston Red Sox today claimed right-handed pitcher Sandy Rosario off waivers from the Miami Marlins and designated outfielder Che-Hsuan Lin for assignment. The announcement was made by Executive Vice President/General Manager Ben Cherington. Rosario, 27, posted a 1.04 ERA (3 ER/26.0 IP) over 25 appearances for Miami's Triple-A club in New Orleans in 2012, all in relief, striking out 24 batters compared to just two walks while limiting opponents to a .215 batting average (20-for-93).  The right-hander finished fifth in the Pacific Coast League with 16 saves in as many chances.  In six rehab outings this season between High-A Jupiter and Double-A Jacksonville, the right-hander gave up four runs in 5.2 innings. ...
