With winter storm Nemo in full force and spring training right around the corner, fantasizing about being in Florida seems only natural for Red Sox fans right now. For some, that dream was a reality and they were able to escape the brutal New England weather for a week and attend the official Red Sox Fantasy Camp in Fort Myers, Fla. The camp, which was held Jan. 20-27, allowed participants to train at the official Red Sox spring training complex, use the same facilities as the team and play on the field at JetBlue Park. Red Sox greats like Luis Tiant, Mike Timlin, Trot Nixon, Butch Hobson and many more coached the attendees throughout the week while Wade Boggs, Joe Castiglione, Tim Wakefield and Ryan Lavarnway made special appearances. Check out the photos below of fans leaving the cold behind and enjoying the incredible experience. Photos via Boston Red Sox

Red Sox Prospect Bryce Brentz Shot Himself In The Leg Whle Cleaning His Gun

My theory is if you can’t clean a gun properly you shouldn’t own a gun. Take the case of Bryce Brentz who pulled a Plaxico on himself according to Deadspin. #RedSox OF prospect Bryce Brentz shot himself in the leg while cleaning a handgun a few weeks ago. Not on ST roster as a result. — Pete Abraham (@PeteAbe) February 9, 2013 You might want to unload the gun while you are...
