Boston Red Sox relief pitcher Bobby Jenks was arrested Friday morning on multiple alcohol-related driving charges. Jenks was arrested at 12:24 a.m. by the Lee County (Fla.) Sherriff's Office and charged with one count of driving under the influence and three counts of DUI and damage to property. The 31-year-old Jenks, who is recuperating from offseason back surgery, also was charged with leaving the scene of a crash with property damage. The Providence Journal reported that Lee posted bail Friday morning. Jenks underwent a pair of surgical procedures on his spine during the offseason. The second caused fluid to leak from his spine and led to an infection. The veteran reliever was limited to just 19 games last season because of ongoing back pain. He logged a 2-2 record with a 6.32 ERA. Jenks owns a 3.53 ERA and 173 saves for his career.
