It was a continuation of an impressive run in which the 24-year-old third baseman has gone 15-for-34 (.441) with two homers seven RBI and a .706 slugging percentage.
Middlebrooks kickstarted a 12-hit offensive outburst that also featured three hits from both Jacoby Ellsbury and Shane Victorino two-run singles by both Jonny Gomes and Jarrod Saltalamacchia and a three-run homer by Stephen Drew.
