Jake Peavy talked about his poor eyesight during his introductory press conference last season, and Ryan Roberts discussed his battle with astigmatism Monday while speaking with reporters for the first time as a member of the Boston Red Sox. Roberts’ discussion was somewhat of an eye-opener — pun very much intended — because the new Red Sox infielder revealed his vision actually improved during spring training with the Chicago Cubs without him doing a single thing differently.
