Denver Post:
The Cincinnati Reds signed right-handed free agent Mike Lincoln to a two-year, $4-million deal accoding to contract information obtained by The Denver Post. Lincoln went 2-5 with a 4.48 ERA in 64 games last season. He will make $1.5 million in 2009 and $2.5 million in 2010. He also has financial incentives for games started and games finished.

He was one of the better pitchers in the Reds bullpen last year, then the All Star break happened. I kind of give him a break on his 2nd half mainly because he was pitching for the 1st time in 4 years, so his arm had to get tired from the work load he had (70 innings). Thanks for that Dusty. Still I don't know about 2 million per year. Oh well what done is done.

I wonder what this means for David Weathers. Weathers 2008 salary was 2.75 million, and is probably going to want more money than that if the Reds are fine with dishing out 2 per year to Mike Lincoln.
