The Reds and GM Walt Jocketty have been very active this offseason capped off by the deal to bring in leadoff hitter Shin-Soo Choo from the Indians. One day later it was announced that another Indian, free agent infielder Jack Hannahan, will join the Reds for 2013. Cincinnati had a need to add infield depth after the completion of the contracts with veterans Cario, Valdez, and Rolen.
