The Dodgers acquired outfielder Shane Victorino from the Phillies for relief pitcher Josh Lindblom and Double-A pitcher Ethan Martin, Yahoo Sports first reported.

Victorino, 31, is in a contract year and has reportedly asked the Phillies for a multi-year contract in the same range as the deal the Orioles' Adam Jones received in the spring -- six years, $85 million.

But the switch-hitting centerfielder was batting .261 with nine home runs and 40 RBIs entering play Tuesday.

Martin was the Dodgers' third-best prospect according to Baseball America. The hard-throwing right-hander has swing-and-miss stuff, but control has been erratic.

With All-Star Matt Kemp in center, the Dodgers will likely use Victorio in left field. He's a three-time Gold Glove Award winner with the Phillies (2008, 2009, 2010).

According to CBS Sports, Victorino is a career .357 hitter with three home runs in 16 career games at Dodger Stadium.

Victorino was originally drafted by the Dodgers in 1999. He spent three years in the low minors and was twice taken as a Rule 5 pick -- first in 2002 by the Padres, when he was returned to Los Angeles. In 2004, he landed with the Phillies.

The Dodgers acquired three-time All-Star Hanley Ramirez from the Marlins last week.

Phillies' prospect Domonic Brown was scratched from a noon ET start at Triple-A Lehigh Valley and is likely to be recalled by the Phillies.
