According to a number of sources, former big leaguer Pascual Perez was killed during a robbery at his home in the Dominican Republic Thursday.While many of the details have not been released, initial reports are that the pitcher received his pension payment Wednesday and that might be a possible motive for the murder.  Local authorities are still looking for the killer of the 55-year-old one-time All-Star.Over eleven years in the bigs (1980-1991), Perez was 67-68 with a 3.44 ERA.  His lone All-Star campaign came in 1983 while pitching with the Atlanta Braves. For a great write up of the righty's colorful career, check this out.
