Toronto can’t seem to catch a break as far as injuries are concerned.  They will have to add yet another productive bat to the disabled list along All-Star slugger, Jose Bautista. Toronto Blue Jays catcher J. P. Arencibia suffered what the Toronto Star is reporting to be a fractured hand that could keep him out of the lineup for six weeks.  The good news is that Blue Jays manager, John Farrell, told the media after the game that the injury would not require surgery. The injury occurred in the second inning due to a foul ball struck by Oakland A’s third baseman, Brandon Inge.  The damage was severe enough to cause Arencibia to leave the game in the middle of the second inning. This could not have come at a worse time for Arencibia and his owners.  The Blue Jays catcher was currently riding a three game homerun streak and batting .321 in July.
