A Boston TV website is reporting that veteran pitcher Kevin Millwood has left the Red Sox organization.CSNNE.com reported Sunday that Milwood cleaned out his locker following Saturday's Triple-A game between Pawtucket and Buffalo. Millwood pitched for Pawtucket on Friday, allowing four runs on eight hits over six innings.The 36-year-old had been angling for a return to the majors after signing a minor-league contract with the New York Yankees during the offseason. He was granted free agency May 1 and latched on with Boston.Millwood's contract with the Red Sox had an opt-out date of June 20, but he chose to stay in the organization.The righthander went 5-1 with a 4.28 ERA in 13 starts with Pawtucket. The four-time 15-game winner last pitched in the majors with Baltimore in 2010, going 4-16 with a 5.10 ERA over 190 2/3 innings.
