Detroit Tigers outfielder Magglio Ordonez apparently is not ready to walk away from the game.
SI.com reported the Ordonez wants to continue play despite breaking his right ankle in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series.
The 37-year-old Ordonez initially broke the ankle last year and had been bothered by it throughout the season to the point where he had talked of retiring.
Ordonez batted .255 with five home runs and 32 RBIs in 92 games this season. He has a career batting average of .309 with 294 homers and 1,236 RBIs with the Chicago White Sox and Tigers.
