In an effort to continue improving their organizational pitching depth, the Red Sox have signed right-handed reliever Sean White to a minor league deal, according to Baseball America's Matt Eddy. White, 30, spent 2011 with the Rockies' Triple-A affiliate, but he has 105 major league appearances to his credit, all of which came with the Seattle Mariners. The righty is 4-4 with a 4.16 ERA in those appearances, which came over the course of three seasons. White's most notable season came in 2009, when he went 3-2 with a 2.80 ERA in 52 games.
