Right-hander Jair Jurrjens has agreed to a one-year deal with the Baltimore Orioles. Jurrjens's base salary will be $1.5 million. The 26-year-old Jurrjens posted a 3-4 record with a 6.89 ERA in 48 1/3 innings with the Atlanta Braves last season. He spent part of the year in the minor leagues and became a free agent in October.
