C.J. Wilson is considered the top available pitcher in free agency and the lefthander is seeking a megadeal.
SI.com reported that Wilson wants a six-year deal with a price tag close to $120 million.
At least five teams have expressed serious interest in Wilson, including the Texas Rangers, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Angels and Florida Marlins.
Wilson, who will turn 31 Friday, went 16-7 with a 2.94 ERA this past season to help Texas reach the American League Championship Series for the second consecutive year.
A career reliever until he was converted to a starter for the 2010 season, Wilson had gone 31-15 the past two seasons.
