Gorski earned his eighth win of the season on Wednesday night Behind a four RBI night by Raul Reyes and seven strong innings worth of work by starter Darin Gorski the Binghamton Mets defeated the New Hampshire Fisher Cats by a score of six to two. The seven innings pitched was Gorski’s second longest outing of the season.  Making his 21st start of the season, Gorski allowed both Fisher Cats runs, only one of which was earned, on eight hits.  He struck out six and walked two enroute to earning his eighth win of the season. Brad Holt came on in the eighth in relief of Gorski.  Holt gave up one hit and struck out one while keeping New Hampshire off of the scoreboard.  Holt threw a total of seven pitches in the inning, all of which were for strikes. Andrew Carpenter pitched the final frame for the B-Mets in the non-save situation.  Carpenter struck out two, walked one, and allowed one hit while giving up no runs in his second outing for Binghamton.
