Found April 27, 2012 on Fenway West:
Rich Hill has returned to the Red Sox from the DL.  Hill has been rehabbing from Tommy John surgery in 2011.  Rich Hill made 9 scoreless relief appearances in 2011 until June when he went down with a torn UCL and needed surgery.  It was a blow to the bullpen at the time since he was the most reliable lefty reliever we had coming out of the pen.  The corresponding move for Hill is that Justin Thomas is being sent down to Pawtucket.  Given our bullpen woes in 2012, adding Hill back to the roster may be just what the Sox need.  Welcome Back Rich Hill!  I hope to see you coming out of the bullpen soon!
