The Colorado Rockies activated first baseman Jason Giambi from the 15-day disabled list on Saturday following his recovery from a viral infection. In another move as clubs were allowed to expand their rosters, the Rockies recalled right-handed pitcher Guillermo Moscoso from their Triple-A affiliate in Colorado Springs. Giambi had missed 35 games since being placed on the DL retroactive to July 21. Moscoso is in his third stint with the team and has gone 0-1 with a 7.53 while seeing duty both as a reliever and starter.
