Found April 21, 2013 on FF Locker Room:
MLB News: Rob Scahill has been recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs to take the place of starter Jhoulys Chacin who has been placed on the disabled list. Chacin will likely miss the next two starts giving Scahill an opportunity to show what he’s got. Scahill has pitched 12 2/3 innings for Colorado Springs posting a not-so spectacular 4.26 ERA. Fantasy Ramifications: Chacin was playing really well going 3-0 to start the year with a superb ERA of 1.46. It’s terrible news for his owners but you should get him back healthy in a couple of weeks. Even if you were desperate, I still wouldn’t pick up Scahill but in a short stint for the Rockies in 2012 he did well. Scahill appeared in 6 games going 8 1/3 innings and only giving up one earned run. Maybe a name to keep an eye on. Colorado Rockies’ Rocking The Boat In The NL West

April in MLB yields surprises every year. Individual performances that nobody saw coming….players that flare up like a supernova in the early weeks only to wither under the weight of the long 162-game schedule. Likewise teams that get off to piping hot starts that either confirm the suspicions that some may have had that the team was ready to rise up or quick starts that baffle...
