The Colorado Rockies recalled right-hander Greg Reynolds from Triple-A Colorado Springs to start Saturday's game against the Kansas City Royals.
This is Reynolds' third stint with the Rockies this season. He is 2-0 with a 4.08 ERA in three starts, and he has appeared in five games for Colorado.
Reynolds will start in place of Jhoulys Chacin, whose turn in the rotation was moved to Tuesday because of tightness in his right forearm.
To make room for Reynolds, the Rockies sent Edgmer Escalona to Colorado Springs to make room for Reynolds.
