Roger Clemens is a great pitcher when you take a look at his career, however, this season, he was nothing special. However, his paycheck is something special to look at, because he basically made the Boss' checkbook bleed. When it's broken down by compensation per pitch, Clemens made $15,047! Check out the article for more figures, but it just goes to show that name recognition and past history is always more important in sports than present day value.
