MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Brewers manager Ron Roenicke and his entire coaching staff will return for the 2014 season, general manager Doug Melvin announced Saturday.
Roenicke, who recently won his 250th game as Milwaukee's manager, will be back to lead the Brewers for a fourth season.
"While this season has not been what we had hoped, I believe the continuity with Ron Roenicke's coaching staff is important," Melvin said. "With the club having 12 rookies and the arrival of a new group of Brewer farmhands, our coaches have worked hard to blend our young players' development with our experienced players as we work toward getting back to the postseason."
Ed Sedar will return as third base coach for the fourth season, his eighth on the major-league coaching staff. First base coach Garth Iorg, pitching coach Rick Kranitz and bench coach Jerry Narron will be back for their fourth year on Roenicke's staff, while hitting coach Johnny Narron returns for his third season and bullpen coach Lee ...
